The Kisumu Yacht Club will host Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s exclusive event dubbed ‘The Blue Party’ this weekend.
The invite-only function slated to be the highlight of Kisumu’s social calendar, promises an unforgettable luxury experience of fine dining, premium whisky and unwinding to usher in the festive season.
“The Blue Party offers a rare opportunity to experience the world-renowned Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a whisky celebrated for its unrivalled craftsmanship and timeless appeal,” organisers note in a press statement on the November 16 event.
“Guests will embark on a journey of whisky discovery and indulgence, including a masterclass that showcases the artistry behind this iconic blend, crowned with a celebratory toast to set the tone for an elegant night.
Josephine Katambo, Marketing Manager for the Scotch & Reserve Portfolio at East African Breweries PLC (EABL) said: “Johnnie Walker Blue Label represents the pinnacle of our whisky portfolio—a symbol of excellence and sophistication.”
“Events like the Blue Party allow us to share this unique experience with our most discerning clientele, creating lasting memories steeped in luxury while celebrating progress and achievement, and creating meaningful connections.”
This event marks the third exclusive experience since the launch of the Johnnie Walker Blue Club earlier this year.
“The Blue Club is a curated space comprised of game-changers, future shapers, and convention challengers who come together to explore personal and collective excellence,” EABL’s statement adds.
Nation describes the Kisumu Yacht Club in a 2022 article as an exclusive members sailing club located along Dunga road.
“It isn’t a place you go for a quick bite. It is an afternoon affair. There is a play area so parents can relax with the calming sounds of the lake in the background. The Yacht Club manages its natural environment very well…”
