The celebrated Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones is attracting a lot of attention on social media after showcasing glimpses of his newly built mansion.
The last time he opened up to fans about the massive project was in October last year, when the house, said to be in Karen, Nairobi, was in its initial stages of construction.
Now, he has taken to his social media to give fans proper views of the majestic property.
The Yes Bana rapper took to Instagram November 11- he uploaded a clip where one of his luxury cars was coming into the freshly constructed driveway.
He captioned the video: “Been constantly putting in work since 2022 and we already see the finish line on the Horizon, Ukiangalia na Wivu unapata (If you view with jealousy you’ll get) Ulcers but Ukiangalia na roho safi unapata (If you view with a clean heart you’ll get) inspiration na motivation but whatever the Case, you will respect the OG…”
His 2.4 million followers jumped to the comment section to send him congratulatory messages.
An Instagram user going by Nduati wrote: “As a fan of Kenyan music I have been praying for days our artists will be living the life they deserve…blessup OG.”
One Gody wrote: “It is possible. Big congrats OG. Respect.”
It was just the beginning of the mansion’s big reveal, with the self proclaimed OG sharing more pictures and videos in the days that followed.
On November 12, the rapper posted a picture of one of the home’s lounging areas. A brown L-seat in the living room paled in comparison to the size of the massive house, which featured high ceilings and spectacular finishings.
“Goodmorning Kenya, reporting live from garden city, ready for your daily advice to kickstart my day… the OG will be respected,” Khaligraph wrote, poking humour at memes and videos Kenyans made comparing his mansion to a mall.
When the Tuma Kitu rapper uploaded a clip showing off a massive staircase and panoramic windows inside his new home, his celebrity friends and fans alike gushed about the size and quality of the property.
“Inspired!” wrote content creator Diana Marua.
“East wing looking [amazing]” wrote actress Minne Kariuki.
On November 13, Khaligraph uploaded a video of his closet, and it was everything an A-list star would be imagined to have.
“Ndio Kuanua Luku (Just shopping for fashionable clothes at) LC WAIKIKI, Have a nice day guys,” the rapper humorously wrote.
Images and videos of Khaligraph’s mansion have gone viral across various social media sites.
He spoke about what the home meant to him in a 2022 interview.
“I show my successes because it’s something that wasn’t shown by guys who were here before us,” he said.
“I’m building a home to show other musicians that it’s good to invest because, with this industry, things can change, but if you have a place to call home where you don’t pay rent, it’s safe for the family.”
