Reverend Kathy Kiuna of the Jubilee Christian Church suffered a huge loss three months ago when her husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, passed away.

Now, she is reflecting on God’s word and sharing a message of hope and consolation with those who can relate to her struggles.

The renowned reverend took to her social media pages where she uploaded a clip speaking about her experience.

“It was, still is, a very difficult situation,” Rev Kathy told her followers.

“You don’t want to wish it on anybody. However, I’ve learnt that with God, your eyes must be so fixed on Him…because many times our eyes are fixed on outcome, that you are praying for something and you want it to go a particular direction, and your eyes are fixed on that direction.”

She urged her followers to focus on God and hope in Him, such that even when the outcome isn’t what one wants, one can recognize the maker’s faithfulness through it all.

“He knows the end from the beginning. The bible says we know in part, so we don’t know it all. You might not know why you are in that situation that you are in, or why the answer to your prayer is not happening the way you thought it would, you might not be where you thought you’d be by now and so many things that are probably confusing.”

The preacher added: “I just want to encourage you, fix your eyes on God- He never fails. He does all things well even if it is a painful moment like mine is right now. He is so faithful, that in the midst of it all, you’ll still find peace, and you will find joy in the Lord.”

She also accompanied her post with a bible verse that reiterated her point.

Bishop Allan Kiuna sadly succumbed to cancer on July 9 at a hospital in Nairobi while receiving treatment.

He was buried a week later in a ceremony attended by dignitaries, top local and international preachers.

Kiuna had been battling multiple myeloma cancer after he was diagnosed in 2018/2019, per The Star.
