Set It hitmaker Dyana Cods is fuming after the official video for her viral track has been taken down from YouTube.
The singer shared a note to fans on Instagram, hinting that there may be an ongoing disagreement between her and Rapper Ajay, who is featured on the song.
“So Ajay and his team decided to pull down my song Set It from YouTube,” the note read, with her caption adding: “I’m so angry I’m so upset, how could they, the guts.”
A search through YouTube confirms that the official video, which was released in August after much anticipation from fans, is now missing on the video sharing platform.
Habari Digital recently reported on the success of the track, as well as its influence on popular culture.
“Just two weeks after its release, the video has garnered 2.6 million views, and has remained as a number 1 trending track on the video sharing platform since.”
Over on social media, specifically TikTok, there has been pandemonium over the beloved track, with fans hopping onto the “set-it” trend, where they follow a perfectly choreographed routine as they dance to the tune.
The dispute over the hit comes weeks after this year’s SolFest artiste lineup was released, confirming that the biggest Arbantone and drill rap acts will be on the stage, including Dyana Cods and Buruklyn Boys’ Ajay.
