Renowned Kenyan artiste and songwriter Willy Paul has released a track which is reportedly a dedication to content creator Sheryl Gabriella.
The song, Sheryl, was released on September 27, and quickly rose to YouTube’s Trending for Music locally.
“Sheryl music video out now. Shot In 3 Countries… Keep supporting this man… Kenya to the world,” the artiste captioned a clip of the video on his Instagram account.
And on a snippet of the video where he and a team of dancers perform a choreographed act, Willy wrote: “The dance, a Kenyan did it… International level… It’s all about dance. Humbly asking all of you to share widely.”
Streaming platform Citimuziq describes the song as a heartfelt dedication to the content creator acknowledging her impact on his previous hit “Kuu Kuu.”

Sheryl Gabriella’s TikTok video where she energetically sang and danced along to Kuu Kuu went viral, accumulating an astounding 4.9 million views and over 400,000 likes to date.
On the comment section of her viral Willy Paul Challenge, fans showed her love, with many commending her for her consistency on the platform, and high energy which uplifts her viewers’ spirits.
“Who can relate that it’s not about her being in love but it’s about realizing self-love,” wrote one TikTok user.

Soon after Sheryl’s video made its rounds on the internet, Willy Paul acknowledged her content and gave her a shout out.
“Sheryl Gabriella, next time I’m flying out with you. We should perform this ‘Kuu Kuu’ challenge song together. One love, my sister,” the singer wrote.
