Early this week, the celebrated Mugiithi artiste Samidoh Muchoki announced that he had parted ways with his longtime manager Moses Marite.
Now, the former music executive has broken his silence about the situation, which had been interpreted by fans and onlookers as tense.
He took to his official social media pages to write a statement expressing gratitude for working with the recording and performing artiste.
“Every opportunity to serve is a gift; thank you for allowing me to unwrap it with you. Your support has been monumental…Through you, I have achieved a lot which can only be attributed to you.”
Marite added: “My sincere apologies to you for instances where I have wronged you and your brand knowingly and unknowingly as I carried out my duties.”
He then assured clients of his utmost attention, writing: “To the few special cases with concerns, I promise I will amicably resolve your issues at personal level before the due dates of your booked dates.”
“Change in life is inevitable. I have hit the ceiling. I therefore wish this great brand/band the very best going forward and I believe without doubt it will continue to thrive as it always has.”
While announcing the news that they had parted ways, Samidoh asked those seeking to work with him to reach out through official contacts he provided.
“Take notice that Samidoh Entertainment terminated all services of one Moses Kimani Marite, whose photo appears. Take further notice that he is not authorized to transact any business, negotiate, or enter into any contract on behalf of Samidoh.”
Samidoh and Marite’s relationship is said to have been a long-standing one, with the two being good friends, and not just business partners.
