The highly anticipated Walker Town Concert set for this weekend is inching closer, and with the arrival of international artistes into the country, excitement is building.

Yesterday, Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema jetted in ahead of the show. The Calm Down singer will headline day one of the event, sharing the stage with celebrated British rapper ArrDee and Kenya’s own Bien Aime Baraza.

British rapper ArrDee landed in Nairobi this morning, where he was, just like Rema, received warmly at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

During a live press conference held in Nairobi on September 27, both local and international artists present expressed their enthusiasm for being part of this Walker Town experience, highlighting the event as a unique and iconic celebration.

UK rap star ArrDee said: “I have heard so much about the energy in Nairobi, and I’m ready to bring my best for the fans. Walker Town is going to be a legendary experience.”

East African Breweries Limited (EABL) noted in a statement that the excitement sets the stage for an extraordinary weekend filled with music, culture, and luxury experiences.

“The event organisers have assured attendees that stringent security measures are in place to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities safely, allowing fans to immerse themselves fully in this celebration of music and luxury.”

Head of Marketing Spirits East Africa at EABL Jean Okech-Nyawara said: “This iconic event is designed to provide an unparalleled experience for our attendees, blending bold, world-class performances with the vibrant culture of Nairobi.”

“Our goal is to create unforgettable memories, and we are committed to delivering a spectacular weekend that showcases the best shared cultures of celebration, highlighting the talents of both local and international artists.”

Walker Town events across the country have become cultural highlights since their inception, drawing thousands of attendees in cities like Nairobi, Meru, and Nakuru.
