Diddy faces at least six new assault allegations

Disgraced Hip-Hop Mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused of sexual assault in six new lawsuits, with one alleging that he abused a minor.

The suits were filed anonymously by two women and four men at a New York Federal court on Monday, and include allegations that span from 1995 to 2021, per BBC.

“The unnamed accusers allege some of the assaults happened at Mr Combs’ parties, which were attended by major celebrities and music artists.”

The report adds: “One of the accusers said he was 16 when he attended one of the parties in the Hamptons in 1998. In the lawsuit, he describes being thrilled to get an invitation to Mr Combs’ party, which became a premier A-list annual event for celebrities.”

These allegations are the first in a wave of dozens of civil cases expected to be filed in the weeks ahead.

They were filed by Los Angeles attorney Andrew Van Arsdale and Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, who earlier this month said he is representing at least 120 such alleged victims, as noted by Billboard.

“While his wealth has kept him above consequence for years, Combs now faces the awesome power of the American judicial system and ultimately a jury of his peers who will be asked to punish him for the deplorable conduct,” the lawyers wrote on each complaint.

Diddy’s legal team has strongly denied the allegations, saying in a statement that he “has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman”.

Attorney Erica Wolff said: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
