Popular make-up artist and beauty entrepreneur Carey Priscilla recently welcomed her third child with husband, businessman Benito Muriu.

The couple shared the good news through their social media accounts. They also took fans through an in depth YouTube video which captured moments inside the labour and delivery room.

“Our little princess is finally here, and she’s beyond perfect… Our hearts are so full, and we couldn’t be more grateful to God for this beautiful blessing,” Carey wrote on Instagram.

“A huge thank you to the amazing @naiwesthospital team for tirelessly supporting us during labor and delivery- I couldn’t have been in safer hands!”

On their heartwarming YouTube video, Carey’s husband Benito got emotional after doctors informed them that it would have to be a C- Section birth, and after some encouragement from his pastor, who had come to the hospital to offer prayers, he told viewers that his spirits were uplifted.

Now, the Carey Beauty College founder is opening up about her postpartum journey, and seeking advice on the new experience of post C-Section recovery.

Sharing a picture on Instagram exposing her post-partum belly, which appears darker than its usual shade, Carey wrote: “I need help…Postpartum is straight-up ghetto!! This belly after birth?! Never seen anything like it.”

“And don’t even get me started on the C-section recovery! Thought I had it all figured out after two normal deliveries, but nope, I know nothing. Please, give all the tips on how to deal with this super dark belly and the CS healing process. Also, have y’all ever seen something like this?”

Fans and friends rushed to the comments with supportive messages, with one of the first coming from her husband.

“It shall be well… I’ll help you to get your body back soon. Asanti kwa kunipa watoto (thank you for giving me children) @carey_priscilla,” he wrote.

Content creator Catey “Fortune” wrote: “As for CS recovery, hydrate a lot with water and soups, try to sit upright regularly, minimize workload, rest and walk a bit when your body allows you to.”

She added: “The migraines and backaches can be extremely uncomfortable but it gets better with time. That’s what worked for me.The darkness on the belly @niceandlovely_ea bio oil worked on me plus it keeps you moisturized so you are not so ashy…It shall be okay mama.”
