50 Cent trolls Diddy amid arrest

50 Cent trolls Diddy amid arrest

The fact that Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is going through some of the darkest times of his life isn’t stopping his long-term nemesis 50 cent from making fun of him.

The embattled rapper’s federal indictment was unsealed this week, revealing details of what was found in his mansions during a raid by the (Federal Bureau of Investigation) FBI.

“In a 14-page indictment, prosecutors allege Combs coerced and drugged women to participate in recorded “highly orchestrated performances” of sexual activity – which he called “Freak Offs” – that would sometimes last days and often included male commercial sex workers,” The Independent reports.

Tuesday’s indictment revealed some of what authorities recovered in those raids; including narcotics, three AR-15s with ‘defaced serial numbers,’ and ammunition.

“Also recovered were “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant,” according to the indictment, which alleges that Combs “subjected victims to physical, emotional, and verbal abuse to cause the victims to engage in Freak Offs.”

After the news broke, rapper 50 Cent took to his Instagram account to diss the troubled mogul.

While sharing a photo promoting his recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, he took a jab at Diddy on the caption.

“Here I am keeping good company with The Drew Barrymore Show and I don’t have 1000 bottles of lube at the house,” 50 cent wrote.

Beef

But it’s not the first time that 50 Cent has hit out at Diddy- they have a long-running ‘beef’ history.

After CNN released footage of Diddy assaulting his ex- girlfriend Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura in March ,50 Cent mocked Diddy’s statement that claimed people were “out to assassinate his character.”

50 responded that the statement gave off “Maury vibes,” in reference to the salacious talk show “Maury,” adding: “The lie detector test has determined this was a lie.”

CNN reports on 50 cent and Diddy’s strained relationship through the years.

The report glances back at one of the first moments the tension was palpable, in 2006 when 50 released a diss track against the Bad Boys founder.

“He released [the diss track] “The Bomb,” which featured sounds of gunfire and his allegation that Combs knew the identity of the killer of Christopher Wallace, a rapper known as The Notorious B.I.G., who was both a protégée and best friend to Combs.”

It added: “50 raps, ‘I guess this means I won’t be invited to the white parties in the Hamptons,’ referencing Combs’ famous soirees held in the upscale New York community.’”

The piece notes that the rapper has made Diddy a frequent target with constant trolling, attacking everything from his music to his age.

The start of the strained relationship may have been an awkward interaction between the two, which 50 Cent revealed in a July interview, as reported by entertainment website The Root.

“He asked to take me shopping. I thought that was the weirdest [expletive] in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman. And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not [expletive] with this weird energy or weird [expletive],’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”

The In Da Club rapper later said that he never partied or spent time with Diddy since.

In 2018, Diddy was asked about the beef between him and 50 Cent, and denied that there was any tension between them in the first place.

“I don’t have no beef with Fif. He loves me,” Combs said. “Y’all can’t see that he loves me? You really think that’s hate? … You know he loves me.”

He added: “When he does that it’s like funny to me. I don’t really take it personal. I know he has a different sense of humor, and he’s just not in my life. We don’t have to never cross paths, and I will never say nothing negative about him, you know, because that’s just not me.
